MLEARN project training programme

During the week of 7th-11th July Hamstead Hall Academy and Titan will be hosting the MLEARN project training programme. Teachers from local Titan schools as well as Italy, Greece, Romania and the Netherlands will participate in the programme; exploring the effective use of mobile devices in teaching and learning. The expert teachers will then take back their training to their schools and education institutions to deliver the training to their colleagues. The project aims to roll-out training programmes across all partner countries. Delegates will work through an extensive programme covering the use of hand held devices to develop higher order skills and effective pedagogy, building technical knowledge and device management plus a chance to observe lessons that integrate the devices into teaching within primary, secondary and specialist schools. This training course has been developed by our lead expert Robin Babbage (Hamstead Hall Academy) and informed by a research report commissioned by the project and written by Lancaster University.
