Titan Partnership Ltd. (UK)

Titan is the lead partner responsible for holding the contract with EACEA for the transnational partnership of MLEARN. Titan is co-ordinating the overall project and working to promote the effective use of handheld technology in the classroom.  As a specialist in teacher training we will work to develop content based on learning outcomes to meet the ECVET requirements, and also pay particular attention to how the new training programme can be used as additional in-service training/continuous professional development for teachers.  Titan is also an Apple Regional Training Centre.  Additionally, Titan is involved in the EUGANGS (Leonardo) Lifelong Learning Programme and a Leonardo Mobility project.

Titan is a partnership of Birmingham inner-city education and community providers working together to raise the quality of life for children, young people and adults living in the Titan area which consists of Handsworth, Aston, Lozells and Nechells areas of Birmingham’s inner city. We aim to promote positive educational change, to combat disadvantage and promote equal opportunities, to celebrate the benefits of the inner-city environment by building upon the richness and cultural diversity in our communities and to work in partnership with parents, employers and young people to increase participation, motivation, employability skills and well-being.

The Titan Partnership is an educational charity and is made up of over fifty nursery, primary and secondary schools, colleges, business partners and universities; we share ideas, resources and professional development opportunities. We develop common approaches to deal with the challenges of raising attainment, achievement and engagement. Titan also provides teacher training opportunities for primary and secondary education.
